- I always thought that we ate fairly healthy. We eat a fair amount of organic food, lots of vegetables and have even started to eat more vegetarian in the past year. However, I've been proved wrong, at least where fat and calories are concerned.
- My portions used to be gigantic!
- My stomach has shrunk considerably in the last 4 1/2 weeks
- Writing down everything you eat creates a disincentive to put just anything in your mouth
- I appreciate my food a lot more these days
- I forgot what being hungry for my food actually was until 4 1/2 weeks ago
- I have way more energy when I eat less food, which is counter-intuitive
- My husband is incredibly supportive, even though he would look malnourished if he lost any weight
- Annoyingly, my kids want to eat my food, particularly if I have methodically portioned it
- I really like how Weight Watchers allows you to budget your food -- you can eat whatever you want, you just have to save them up by eating healthier to account for it
- If I'm given an incentive to exercise (like the ability to eat more food), I will exercise consistently
- After I hit my goal weight and my subscription has ended, I think I'm going to try to eat well for most of the week and then not worry about it for 1 or 2 days out of the week

Way to go Kindra! I know what you mean about your kids wanting to eat your pre-portioned food -- that makes me nuts! I suppose its another opportunity to learn generosity... :)
Good for you!! I gave up sweets for a class where we were fasting (bc I was nursing and could not give up food). I only did it for three days, but I was amazed at how motivation to eat at least half of what I would normally eat goes away when you don't organize eating around cravings. I am hovering between pre-Jesse and pre-Emma weight. Girl scout cookies have been my demise.
